BECCA CAREY, Head Coach
Becca Carey is a Class A Member of the LPGA. She has been a teaching professional for the last twenty years. Her career started at Memorial Park in Houston after a major renovation of the golf course. She was then a golf and teaching professional in Palm Springs California for fifteen years teaching with some of the top teachers in the industry. She has had the opportunity to teach and learn with Ed Sehl, Sandra Palmer, Jane Blalock, Kathy Whitworth, Sandra Haynie, and Fred Shoemaker. Also while in the Palm Springs area, taught in the world renowned John Jacobs Golf School. Becca came back to Houston in 2011 to work for GolfTec and taught over four thousand lessons in two years. She was a senior instructor with Matt Swanson’s School of golf at Clear Creek Golf Course. She has taken the Level One TPI workshop for fitness in the golf swing and is a certified US Kids golf coach. Becca was nominated in 2007 and 2008 as one of the top 50 US Kids instructors in the nation. She is a certified club fitter and works with Trackman as well as V1 software for lessons. One of Becca’s strengths in teaching is her good communication as well as excellent people skills. She has the ability to put the students at ease so that the learning process is fun as well as beneficial.
